Swiss Alliance Australia
Swiss Alliance Australia was established in 2020 and is an umbrella organisation that aims to be an unifying voice for large or small Swiss associations in Australia. The SAA also supports the aims and objectives of Swiss Community, the Organisation of the Swiss Abroad (OSA), through feedback and representation by the Council delegates.
Aim and Role
- Promote and encourage exchange
- Maintain and foster close relationships with official channels in Switzerland
- Organise biennial Swiss Club Presidents’ Conference
- Inform about events, news, legislation of interest
- Guide members on organisational and administrative matters
- Carry through democratic elections for the delegates to the Council of the Swiss Abroad
